P\AIR/IDOLIA started with a flight at about 6000 ft., seeing the sun glance off a series of rivers in such a way that they took shape as animals, people, and such.  Much like one would make shapes out of clouds, she imagined a concept of literally painting this landscape.  Jan, being more of a literal, right-brain artist, knew the perfect creative mind with which to p\air this idea…
